Our offered services are detailed in the panel to the right, feel free to contact info@getmatrixed.com for more information about our offerings.

Engineering Services

Through the development of our automation systems, we have gained a wealth of knowledge in production processes in various industries.

From component manufacturing and finishing to assembly and testing of completed products, our robots have improved processes in the most unlikely locations.

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Design is the cornerstone of any successful project. Matrix can manage your entire project from start to finish. Let us put our extensive experience to work for you. We can design electrical schematics, specify electrical components, perform panel building, install and integrate the completed electrical system, and even run it off at the customers facility.

We have the ability to work with both IEC and JIC standard electrical diagrams, as well as converting from one to the other. All of our designs are according to the NFPA 79 standard for electrical diagrams.

Mechanical Engineering

Designing mechanical components for a new project can be intimidating, especially if it includes a machine as complex as a robot. Robot components need to very rugged in order to deal with the forces placed on them by the robot motion or the process being performed.

Additionally, in many applications, tooling design is pivotal to the process, continuous redesign of the tooling is a significant drag on the rest of the project.

Why not let our years of experience simplify your project? When automating a process, deadlines are critical as the automated solution should be more efficient, and therefore more cost-effective/profitable.

Every minute counts.

Software Development

Matrix Design specializes in the creation and integration of windows-based systems for MMI, Part Processing, Production Management and other applications. These applications are custom programmed to your specifications and can be as simple or advanced as your needs require. They can be integrated with a multitude of PLCs and CNCs as well as our robotic sytems.

Matrix Design offers PLC and CNC programming for a wide variety of platforms, including, but not limited to Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, NUM, Omron and Mitsubishi. We have the capability and experience to manage your software project from start to finish, or simply to write the code for a completed design. Additionally, we have a wealth of experience integrating peripheral components such as integrated PC systems, gauging, vision systems and lasers.

Consulting

Sometimes some pointers are all you need to get a project moving in the right direction. Whether you ran into issues with an in-house project or have been presented with a completed system that does not seem to live up to expectations, Matrix Design can come in and help you get the project on-track.

Unfortunately sometimes the original approach is just not feasible. But wouldn't it be better to get that oppinion from someone with years of experience in the field?

Robot / Machine Service

Electrical, Mechanical and Software debugging are a part of every one of our projects. These are also the most critical skills in machine service situations. We like to joke that we end up knowing more about the machine tools we automate than the robots, as we do tend to spend a lot of time operating and debugging machines. Although we feel machines are best serviced by the OEM

Although we like to focus our energy on building and integrating automation systems, we appreciate the opportunity to maintain our systems as well. No system is perfect, all will wear over time. The proper maintenance of your automation system is directly related to its durability as well as profitability. More so with robots as they are ideal for reapplication to a new system due to their flexibility. A properly serviced and maintained robot will last for years to come.
